Why web design?
I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to computers. I was writing Basic programming when I was eight, and Logo when I was 10, although I jealously watched my friends playing Horace goes Skiing on the Spectrum while I was taught to write geography tests on my Genie II.
Through many years of working in sales, IT and project management, I got bored of seeing dull, uninspiring, clunky, websites and decided to put my geek skills to use once more.
After years of working with PCs, building them, selling them and training others on them, I reverted to the beautiful Apple Macs and haven't looked back.
The main programme I use is Rapidweaver, an intuitive Mac application, which supports websites on all platforms. I still use PCs to test usability and accessibility, but Rapidweaver is so intuitive, I can work at lightening speed to ensure back- and front-end technology works perfectly.

Where am I?
You'll find me in the beautiful old town of Woodstock, near Blenheim Palace, surrounded by Macs, photographs and my dogs.
