I achieved a distinction in my MPhil Modern Chinese from Oxford University. I write to the highest academic standards - high enough to achieve a distinction in my own thesis on the development of private education in communist China.
As a pre-sessional tutor at the University of Reading, I taught academic writing classes to international students and have a thorough understanding of what is required at this level.

I co-wrote and co-managed the winning bid for a Joseph Rowntree Foundation research project on forced labour in the UK. My understanding of the audience and rigorously researched content proved invaluable in securing £230,000 through academic proposal writing.
